Open Vistas has two models for development. You can either have Open Vistas provide qualified personnel on-site for your custom development or have a package developed according to your specification offsite at Open Vistas premises. In the case of on-site development, it can be under the supervision of your organization's project manager or Open Vistas can provide a Project Manager to oversee the development. In all models, Open Vistas brings structure to the development with an assessment phase that results in a Statement of Work that outlines the deliverables, acceptance criteria, risks, as well as an estimate of the timelines and cost.
Open Vistas undertakes development in Visual Basic (including .NET), Java (including RMI and J2EE), PowerBuilder, Delphi, VisualAge (Java).
